She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree and Doctor of Pharmacy degree at The Ohio State University and completed a PGY1 Community Residency at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in partnership with the Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio. Dr. Winhoven’ s prior practice experience includes community, home infusion and charitable pharmacy settings as well as initial career experience as a chemist in the drug industry working in both stability and quality control laboratories.

She joined the College of Pharmacy in 2019 and her teaching experience has encompassed instruction in both the undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy program; having experience in distance learning, traditional in-person lecture to smaller classes, as well as team based learning and large classroom facilitation.
