She joined the College of Pharmacy in 2019 and her teaching experience has encompassed instruction in both the undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy program; having experience in distance learning, traditional in-person lecture to smaller classes, as well as team based learning and large classroom facilitation.

Currently, her primary responsibility at the College of Pharmacy is coordination of active learning in the Integrated Pharmacotherapy course sequence for the duration of the P2 year. Dr. Winhoven also precepts advanced pharmacy practice experience (APPE) students and residents in academic practice.
