Professional Interests
Through her fellowship, Dr. Blankenship instructs undergraduate and PharmD students on health advocacy and policy. She serves as a government affairs liaison between The Ohio State University’s College of Pharmacy and Wexner Medical Center. Through this work, she has been able to collaborate with key stakeholders and legislators to advocate for healthcare equality and access for patients. Dr. Blankenship is passionate about advancing the practice of pharmacy in Ohio and across the country.
Biography
Dr. Blankenship’s educational background includes a PharmD from Drake University (2022) in Des Moines, Iowa, as well as a postgraduate residency program at the American Pharmacists Association (2023) in Washington, DC. Dr. Blankenship began her fellowship program with the College of Pharmacy in July of 2023.
