The Ohio State University Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SSHP) chapter recently received the Outstanding Professional Development Project Award at the ASHP Midyear meeting in Anaheim, CA.

The Outstanding Professional Development Project Award is a distinguished honor which recognized student societies for exceptional project ideas and evaluated on the project’s content, creativity and resourcefulness, service/outreach impact and overall impression.

Ohio State’s SSHP chapter received the award for their poster titled, “ASHP Shining Star Award: a Practice Advancement Initiative (PAI) Week Success Story”. The poster demonstrated recommendations and examples from the chapter’s successful PAI Week events to serve as a resource for other SSHP chapters around the country. As a result of the award, the chapter was presented with a winner’s ribbon to display on their poster and was recognized during the Pharmacy Student Forum Opening Session at the meeting.

Congratulations to the SSHP chapter for the great recognition!
