Dr. Hanes is the Lewis J. Ort Professor of Ophthalmology; holds joint appointments as professor in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Neurosurgery, Oncology and Pharmacology and Molecular Sciences; and is director of the Center for Nanomedicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
