As part of Recovery Month in September, we will be hosting a naloxone and fentanyl test strip training and distribution event on September 15, 2022.
Harm reduction plays an important role in decreasing negative consequences associated with drug use. Utilizing a harm reduction approach includes meeting patients where they are and providing services along a continuum. There are several strategies to reduce the risk of opioid overdose and death including widespread access to naloxone and fentanyl testing strips. This program will provide participants with naloxone and fentanyl test strip training and distribution. Anyone interested in learning more about harm reduction as it relates to opioid use disorder is encouraged to attend!
