The BSPS major was the best decision I made coming into college. I came in knowing I wanted to pursue a career in the medical field helping others, but was unsure exactly what I wanted to do. BSPS is a great major for anyone in my position, as it contains all the prerequisites needed for any career in medicine. I will be applying for medical schools this summer, and I will be taking with me all the knowledge I've learned here. Not only are the major classes engaging, but unlike other "pre-med" majors, all the electives are related to healthcare as well. Through my major and experiences while in the program, I've been able to travel the world, go to professional conferences to present my research, and meet great people along the way. The majority of this major are future pharmacists, but in my classes are future physicians, dentists, therapists, nurse practitioners, and more. For anyone wanting to pursue a career helping others in the medical field, this is the major for you.
