The program's innovative coursework emphasizes cutting-edge integrated science learning, hands-on laboratory experiences and career development.

The BSPS program offers two pathways depending on students’ post-graduation goals: Healthcare Professions and Drug Discovery & Development.

High school students who are interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy may apply to Ohio State's Early Assurance Program (EAP). Students selected for this program are guaranteed admission into Ohio State’s Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program if all EAP criteria are met and maintained throughout their undergraduate career. Students interested in this option would enroll in the Healthcare Professions Pathway.
