Annual Report 2020-21
Here at Ohio State, researchers, pharmacists, student pharmacists, and our incredible faculty and staff members have continued their hard work and flexibility to make possible the college’s mission to advance the profession through practice, research and education.
The college’s research program experienced a 47.5% increase in funding and two of our faculty members were recognized with prestigious awards by the university for their research. Our clinical faculty members and pharmacy students spent hours vaccinating Ohioans at sites across the state and working with state and national partners to advocate and work to implement provider status. When the COVID-19 pandemic swept the nation in March, our students, faculty and staff displayed unprecedented adaptability and flexibility to keep our community and patients safe. Even though our operations shifted significantly, our mission remains.
