Description: We’re excited to invite you attend the 2nd annual “Diversity Week”. This year, we’ve chosen to highlight educational events discussing the role of culturally relevant and responsive care to patients. We have an exciting week of programs planned which address topics ranging from caring for LGBTQ patients through inclusive language and environments, to recognizing and confronting bias in ourselves and others. Please join us at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy for an exciting major and career exploration event for highschool and current undergraduate students. By participating you’ll learn about how a pharmaceutical sciences education can help students interested any clinical health care or health related research career, no matter if that’s medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, or many other fields! Current undergraduates will highlight pharmacy career options and our Doctor of Pharmacy program.

The Ohio State University Student Health Services (SHS) Pharmacy will hold a Medication Disposal Day on Thursday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wilce Student Health Center, 1875 Millikin Rd. Under the direction of Candace Haugtvedt, RPh, Ph D, Ohio State’s SHS Pharmacy has been hosting Drug Take Back Days since 2011. The event is co-sponsored by Generation Rx, The Ohio State University Police Department and Ohio State’s College of Pharmacy.

New Date!

The Pharmacy Alumni Society and Generation Rx present the third annual Pharmathon 5k.  Join us for a 5K run/walk or 1 mi walk around the oval.  Proceeds benefit Generation Rx programming on drug misuse. 

8:45 am - packet pick up
8:45 - 11:30 am - Generation RX educational opportunities
9:50 am - Kids Fun Run Start
10:00 am - 5K and 1 mile event start

Cost: $30 for adults, $12 for kids
