The APha Pharmacy-Based Travel Health Services certificate program is an innovative and interactive advanced competency training (ACT) program that explores the pharmacist’s role in providing travel health services to patients. This application-based activity is the first step for pharmacists interested in learning the essential skills necessary to successfully provide travel health services.

This program consists of two components: 6.0 hours (0.6 CEU) web based self-study modules with case studies and an assessment exam as well as 4.0 hours (0.4 CEU) live seminar with an assessment exam. Successful completion is defined as a score of 70% or better on both the self-study and live seminar assessments.

Program pre-requisite: Pharmacists who have completed the APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate training program and received a Certificate of Achievement or have previously completed an immunization training program and are authorized to provide immunizations in the state in which they practice.

If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us as soon as possible. No refunds for cancellations on or after March 27, 2018. Cancellations prior to March 27, 2018 will receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee. However, participants who redeem an enrollment code will be charged a fee of $115 regardless whether or not they complete any portion of the self-study.
