Undergraduate Summer Research Program Accepting Applications

Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships in Pharmaceutical ScienceThe Ohio State University College of Pharmacy is now accepting applications for the 2013 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The program offers students of sophomore or junior status the opportunity for an alternative learning experience.

Students have the opportunity to gain research experience by working in labs in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, or Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy.  Research activities are directed by any faculty member in the College of Pharmacy who is willing to be a mentor.

The fellowships are best suited for students interested in research or working in the laboratory environment. The duration of the fellowship is nine weeksfrom May 20 to July 19, 2013. Although no college credit may be received, it provides a $4,000 stipend for each student.
