Polzin Takes Office as Ohio Pharmacists Association Trustee
The Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) announced today that Jeff Polzin, R.Ph., of Centerburg, Ohio, was installed as a Trustee at its 136th Annual Conference held April 4-6 in Columbus.
Polzin is a 1999 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. He currently practices pharmacy at Discount Drug Mart and additionally is the owner and pharmacist for Immunization Consultants of Central Ohio, a mobile immunization clinic. He is a past OPA recipient of Cardinal Health’s Generation Rx Award for his work preventing prescription drug abuse.
“We are pleased to add Jeff Polzin to our association’s Board of Trustees. He has been a valued member of the organization and the pharmacy community for many years, and we look forward to working with him as a Trustee,” said Ernest Boyd, OPA Executive Director.
OPA, established in 1879, represents more than 4,000 pharmacists, pharmacy educators, and pharmacy students throughout the state. It is OPA’s mission to unite the profession of pharmacy and encourage interprofessional relations, while promoting public health through education, discussion, and legislation.
