The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy Presents 2013 Research Day
The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy will hold its eighth annual Research Day on Thursday, April 4, 2013, on the second floor of the Biological Science / Pharmacy Library located at 496 W. 12th Ave., Columbus, Ohio. This event celebrates the important research being conducted by the college.
Research Day Schedule of Events
Guest Speaker, James T. Dalton
To kick off the event, over 60 presenters will display their research findings during a poster session. These poster entries include faculty, research staff, students, residents, and postdoctoral students. A brief dessert reception will be held at 2:00 PM.
Guest speaker, James T. Dalton, PhD, vice president and chief scientific officer at GTx, Inc., will give a lecture at 3:30 in room 170 in the Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute. Co-inventor of all SARM patents, Dalton’s lecture will be on “Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs): Bench to Bedside.” SARMs were first discovered in Dalton’s research laboratories.
Awards will be presented to the top posters immediately following the guest speaker.
