College of Pharmacy Annual Research Day to Feature Jeff Aubé
The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy will host its annual Research Day on Thursday, April 7 from 11:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Biological Sciences/Pharmacy Library, 496 W. 12TH Ave and the Room 115 of the Biomedical Research Tower, 460 W. 12TH Ave.
Research Day celebrates innovative research in the College of Pharmacy, It provides an opportunity for faculty, staff and students of the College of Pharmacy to present their research projects and findings and network with other faculty and students. A poster competition will also take place throughout the day where students will have the opportunity to win cash prizes for their research projects.
This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Jeff Aubé, the Fred Eshelman Distinguished Professor from the University of North Carolina. Aubé’s presentation, The Search for New Kappa Opioid Receptor Ligans, will be held in Room 115 in the Biomedical Research Tower at 3:00pm.
Poster check-ins and setups take place from 11:00 a.m.-12 p.m., poster viewing and competition judging will go from 12:30-2:00 p.m., and a desert reception will be held from 1:30-2:45 p.m. Awards for the competition will be presented from 4-4:30 p.m., after Aubé’s lecture.
Research Day is co-sponsored by The Ohio State University Center for Clinical and Translational Science.
