Undergraduate Research & Internships
Advanced Practice Opportunities (APO) Table
The APO Table was developed to link BSPS, entry-level PharmD, and graduate students at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy interested in learning more about advanced pharmacy practice opportunities such as residency with Ohio State College of Pharmacy and Wexner Medical Center Pharmacy faculty. Students are encouraged to contact any pharmacist(s) whose practice and/or research areas interest them.

Undergraduate Research Office (URO)
The Undergraduate Research Office (URO) helps undergraduate students pursue research opportunities at Ohio State. Research can be conducted at the university or elsewhere, independently, as part of a team, or in collaboration with faculty.
College of Pharmacy Summer Undergraduate
Interested in research? Do you like working in a laboratory (or would like to find out if you like it)?
Fellowships are available for undergraduate students who would like to do research in any of the pharmaceutical sciences for the summer. The fellowships provide a minimum of $4,000 for a ten-week, full-time experience.
Applications can be obtained from our Graduate Program Coordinator in room 217C Parks Hall, 500 West 12th Avenue, or downloaded from the web. Please list the faculty whose research activities are of interest to you.
Internship opportunities for undergraduate BSPS students are highly individualized and vary widely. Each student is responsible for arranging their own internship experience.
Academic credit may be earned for an internship experience. For questions about this, e-mail an undergraduate academic advisor.
Contact the College of Pharmacy career advisor for information regarding undergraduate internships and a list of companies that have hired BSPS students as interns in the past.
