2017 NOPE Candlelight Vigil Join GenerationRx in the 2017 NOPE Candlelight Vigil! Amidst the rising opioid epidemic our country faces, this is an event where students come together to honor and remember all those who have been affected by addiction. This year, join us for a viewing of the documentary, "7 Days of Heroin", touching testimonies from faculty and students, and a candlelit ceremony to remember those who have lost their battle with addiction. As part of the tour event, you will get HIPAA certified (which can help with future shadowing opportunities), you will learn about the hospital, tour the central & satellite pharmacies, and you will engage with clinical hospital pharmacists who have specializations such as Inpatient Pharmacy, Outpatient Pharmacy, Ambulatory Care, Nuclear Pharmacy, Hem/Oncology Specialist, Generalists, Medication Safety, PGY1 and PGY2. Event dates: • Thursday, October 5 from 2 - 5 p.m. • Friday, October 20 from 1 - 4 p.m.
